Toxic residues may linger on treated surfaces after pesticides have dried, so consider taking care to keep your pet from licking, chewing, or consuming plants or other materials treated with pesticides, even after they have dried.
How long is a pesticide effective in a house?
Don’t Clean Right Away – You could think of cleaning right away after an exterminator has finished the treatment since the mess might still be there. However, you must avoid doing this because if you clean up right immediately after the treatment, you risk wiping away the chemicals used and preventing the treatment from functioning as intended.
